Why this counts as a win
PlugPark's prototype was built to answer one question: could this business actually work? The clickable prototype let the founder test the model with real users and run the real numbers on it. The answer was that the business had low odds of success and wasn't financially viable, especially once electric-car makers started entering the charging space, so the founder made an informed decision not to build. That's the win: the idea was validated, and killed, for under $15K instead of the hundreds of thousands a full build would have cost.
